THE RACE
The Route
The Red River Run is proud to call Alexandria, LA home.Originally run in 1999, the Red River Run has been Central Louisiana's premiere 10K event.
The route starts at Big Island Park on Babe Ruth Dr and makes it's way through the streets of downtown and into the Historic Garden District through stately oaks and blooming azaleas. It is a loop course that finishes back at Big Island Park. The route is USATF certified, flat and fast, with a combination of concrete and asphalt surfaces.
Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up will on be on race day beginning at 7:00am at Big Island Park on Babe Ruth Dr, beside Bringhurst Park. Please plan to pick up your packet as early as possible to avoid race day confusion. Times are as follows: Saturday March 11, 2023 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM
